Today and yesterday have both sucked. Yesterday was Halloween, I didn't dress up or anything. I spent tutorial handing out Halloween grams for Key Club which was kind of awkward. At lunch I skipped Key Club so I could go to lunch with Khaliun but I didn't see her at the library... I think we were both kinda disappointed. And no one else wanted to go to lunch with me. I went to Red Apple during my TA period with David, which was no fun because he was worried about the time (we came back with a surplus of 20 minutes left.) Today was more of the same... at least the school part was easy. Watched a video in History about Jefferson and Sally Hemmings which was actually pretty interesting. During lunch no one wanted to go anywhere, which wasn't a problem because I wasn't that hungry anyways. In LA we discussed Halloween and watched Simpsons. And I just came back from the store with a money order for some VCD's. I need to stop feeling so antisocial.
  10.30.01 12:17 AM (Tuesday)
My day has just been dandy. In the morning I went by Strentz' room to drop an essay off which I was hoping could get corrected today but didn't. I found out in AP US History I'm getting a mid B at 80.0% exactly because I got 100/100 on the in-class reading analysis and a 50/50 on the extra credit, yes! I sacrificed lunch on behalf of keyclub to sell Halloween grams with Christina. And that was my day, pretty much.
  10.27.01 11:59 PM (Saturday)
Today I went out to Southcenter with David, Eric, Alex L., and his brother John. We spent like an hour in the arcade, I played DDR twice. After that we were going to go to Red Robin but didn't for some reason...
I also went to Southcenter yesterday with my sister because she had to go shopping for Franklin's Homecoming.
  10.25.01 6:18 AM (Thursday)
I accidentally fell asleep last night.. well yesterday was just dandy. In Japanese we learned how to use "kara" and "kedo". During tutorial I played Survivor again, but I was voted off in the second round because I lost to a rock-paper-scissors fight with Eugene. In AP Stats we had a huge test, I hope I did well on it... and our project was due too, but I accidentally did the wrong type of graph so I'm turning in the right graph on Friday. Lunch with Key Club, nothing too eventful. Laura bought me some chicken because I asked her after Japanese. And TA period... usual.
  10.24.01 12:56 AM (Wednesday)
These past two days have been, as usual, uneventful. Today in AP US History I found out our class averaged 80% on the rescore we took Monday... while all the other four classes managed a 85%. It's kinda sad really. Lunch has been really boring, I really need to find some new lunch buddies who will settle for Ezell's! While TAing today David got really pissy because I wouldn't do my TA stuff because I had LA stuff to do. It irritated me. At least we got to watch a neat reaction involving hydrogen gas, a balloon, and fire... after that, AP LA was neat because we were taking notes and Ms. Strentz had this story of her crazy grandmother, and everyone wanted to share their stories of old people, and we got into so many tangents for the rest of the period it was pretty fun.
  10.21.01 7:35 PM (Sunday)
This morning we were supposed to have an NHS cleanup but it was cancelled because of the weather. Oh well. I came back just a little while ago from "helping" Khaliun. Got a ride from my sister's BF Downtown to Nordstrom's Esperesso Bar, then Khaliun drives by and I hop in b/c she was looking for a place to park. We ended up parking in the Meridian 16 lot. To Starbucks, where I "helped" Khaliun do her Chem labs, across the street from Nordstrom's. Called David up a few times because I had questions myself. It took like 2 hours, I dunno if I helped her much though. After that Khaliun decided she wanted to go shopping, we spent 45 or so minutes at Nordstrom's and she didn't even buy anything... to Old Navy, bought nothing again. After that we went to Gameworks so I could play a quick game of DDR 3rd Mix. Then we went to Angel's in Broadway, got some spicy noodle dishes that was really good, then Khaliun dropped me home.
  10.20.01 10:00 PM (Saturday)
Haven't updated in a few days. What did I do...
Tuesday, we got back our tests in Japanese. It was kinda funny because I was the only one to get a 10/10 so Craig-sensei let everyone but me take a rescore (sounds snobby, but I was modest about it... furrealz, yo.)

Wednesday was really boring as well; we reviewed kanji dates in Japanese. During lunch I had a Key Club meeting, we signed up for volunteering for this Halloween fund raiser. Oh yeah I asked anyone if they wanted to go to Ezell's with me afterward but no one wanted to, so I went alone, with 15 minutes left during lunch. Usually it doesn't take long but the line was filled with adults, that is, non-students, and they ordered actual chicken so the line took hella long. Just as my order was about to be taken this woman cuts me and orders $100 worth of chicken, and the guy took 5 minutes to ring it all up, and I was waiting there looking at my watch and being bored. Then the woman paid and I thought I could finally order but NO! She goes and asks about sauce. I was like WTF. Oh well. I ordered, got my chicken, and I was late by around 10 minutes, but it was only to my TA period. Luk was there, he did his Precalc (they're doing derivatives of logarithmic functions @ Central, what's up with that). We got to watch a fun experiment, forget the chemicals it involved. And that was Wednesday.

Thursday we had a boring lecture in Calc. During Tutorial I helped Michele play against Dan in Stratego, it was funny because she put her pieces randomly on the board, the only pieces I placed were some 7's around the flag, which actually helped. Dan lost, and he seemed kinda pissed. History, a lecture and an in-class assignment b/c we don't have study questions for the Constitution section. In AP LA we got our essays back, I was so bummed because I got two B's, one on the assignment, the other on a reading packet.
Yesterday... we watched a video in history because we had a sub, which was one of those rare days. Lunch was spent in Stever's waiting for Khaliun because she wanted help on her Chem lab but she wasn't there so I went to the cafeteria to get food, she came late because she went to get some Phad Thai. It was pretty good too, I was stuffed afterwards. LA I led a group discussion, Brian, Chris and I divided the class into three to have a more smooth discussion, but my discussion was hella quiet! Oh well.

Today was pretty busy. I woke up early to take the PSAT's. Got a ride with Amy and Shu Ming, picked up Jennifer and we headed for GHS to take the test. I was assigned to Anderson's room, 119, and I sat near Ben O. The test was long and the verbal part sucked. Afterwards, Amy gave me a ride home. At 5, Eric, Alex L., and Jeffo picked me up. We called up Aaron to go bowling @ Imperial Lanes. It was pretty fun, considering I hadn't bowled since 3rd grade... my first score was like a 30 (wow) and my second score, with bumpers, was around 90 (ooh.). Went to Chinatown, in Pho Bac for some noodles and coconut juice. Then to McDonald's for ice cream. But on the way home, we drove by this secluded street and tried to get ourselves scared... it was pretty fun.
  10.16.01 5:43 AM (Tuesday)
Nothing interesting happened yesterday, except an essay test in US History. I found out I got a 55 on my DBQ. Lunch @ McDonald's in Gabino's van. Yay.
  10.14.01 6:56 PM (Sunday)
As I predicted, today was no ordinary day (again). In the morning I practiced driving then went to IKEA for a wardrobe closet and a lamp, which totaled around $120. Got home, spent three or so hours to put the closet together. Then I told my sister and her BF to go get me a PS2, so I gave them $360 and I just got it... it's beautiful... I got the package with GT3. I'm thinking of whether I should get it modded or not, the import PS2 games look tight, and it'd be cool to play import DDR on my PS2 as well (all the other Bemani games, Beatmania, PPP, etc., are for PS2 import only...) Oh well. Time for more cleaning up, hopefully I can start HW by 8.
  10.13.01 10:19 PM (Saturday)
These past few days have gone by really fast. Let me recap.

On Thursday we had 2-4-6, Calculus test was so-so (hopefully I got an A), and everyone finished 20 or so minutes early so Nomura let us play games. It was funny because Anna and I were playing the Tetris board game and you had to play Tetris with these cutout blocks (it was based on the NES game) and it was really stupid so we were laughing for the longest time. Then tutorial came, we had the STUPIDEST class assembly which was previously unannounced, our class officers are really crappy and wasted our time with a stupid assembly. I was planning on studying for the AP US History test the next period, but I couldn't concentrate in the auditorium. Oh well. I ended up getting a 61% on the American Revolution test, just 1% lower than the class average. Yay! Lunch was spent with Aaron, Gabino, David, and we met up with Peter and Ben at Wendy's, which I officially am tired of. 6th period just discussion and more discussion. Afterschool I went to David's house but I got bored so I went home.

Yesterday was Arcade Team practice (no school, in-service day). Peter picked me and Aaron up and we arrived late 15 mintues. Gameworks was pretty fun I guess, I played a few rounds of DDR and a few fighting games but that was it. I was going to play Mr. Driller but there were lots of people on the machine! Usually that game isn't so popular... oh well. Red Robin afterwards, followed by a trip to the Curiosity Store down at the waterfront... oh yeah caught the 5-cent X-rated-in-1920's peep show and was like "Oh baby" at each slide. Went to Aaron's house afterwards, to Peter's house, to Eric Jensen's house, then I caught a ride home with David E.

Today I called up Khaliun and asked if she wanted to see Zoolander, and she said okay. Went to Chinatown by bus (missed the 42 so I had to catch the 7, I was really pissed off about that) and arrived 2 minutes late, but she was around 10 minutes late so no problem there (she picked me up so we could go North). Michele and Aaron P. were meeting us up at Oak Tree so we could catch the 4:45 but Michele gave Aaron wrong directions so they would arrive kinda late. Went into Larry's Market to buy some drinks, then went in again to buy some chips to sneak into the movie. But Aaron and Michele got there 15 minutes late so we decided to catch the 7:30. We spent our time at a Thai restuarant somewhere up North, and I got a $10 dish of seafood that wasn't really very good... Khaliun was talking to David S. @ Princeton the entire time, yeah. So we got the movie 20 minutes early and waited. Zoolander was pretty funny, glad I finally saw it. Khaliun had to leave 15 minutes before the movie ended so Aaron gave me a ride home. Got lost as usual... ended up taking MLK exit, to the 7-11 near Renton, to local to my house.

I hope that concludes my weekend adventure (probably going out again tomorrow though...)
  10.10.01 10:22 PM (Wednesday)
Today was easy. 1st period worksheets galore, Statistics a ton of homework and a project, the first part of lunch was spent at Stever's collecting pictures while the second half was spent in Key Club. Afterschool had an eye appointment, I wouldn't let them dilate my eyes because I had to study... two big tests tomorrow, I am worried!
  10.10.01 2:33 AM (Wednesday)
No Study Q's tonight, not much due tomorrow, but I have to do lots of HW for a really hard day Thursday (AP Calc Test, AP US History Test, AP LA due date.) Let's see... nothing interesting went on today except at lunch, second NHS meeting, and then Peter's birthday in Stever. In LA Ms. Strentz had to go visit her grandmother so we had Mr. Miranda moderate our discussion... I didn't really finish reading "The Crucible" so it was kinda hard to say anything intelligent during the discussion...
  10.9.01 3:10 AM (Tuesday)
It's 3:10 AM, and I'm doing homework... lots of it. Unit 2 Study Q's for AP US are my main concern, but I also have to read the Crucible for AP LA, I have Calc and Stats HW as well. Right now I am talking to Alice who I haven't talked to in a month or longer... and we're ranting and discussing AP US History. Oh yeah I got my essay back in that class, a 45/100! Oh well, my grade only dropped like 6 percent. Back to work.
  10.7.01 9:37 PM (Sunday)
Hmm I haven't updated in a while. The entire week was spirit week but I didn't participate, on Thursday it was 70's/80's day and there was a dance section in the 2nd Floor Hallway, which got really musty. Friday we had all six periods in the morning so we could have the Homecoming assembly in the afternoon. I didn't go because of an appointment, and I didn't go to the game either because I couldn't secure a ride, and I didn't go to the dance either because no one I knew was going. So much for school spirit.
  10.4.01 12:59 AM (Thursday)
Today (yesterday) was pretty bad. Yet another oral quiz in Japanese, on te-form verbs plus imasu/iru, I got a 9/10, which was kinda bad. Then we played Survivor during tutorial and I was the first one to get booted off. AP Stats, really boring, almost fell asleep. Lunch, forgot my dues for Key Club, was going to register for PSATs but it was too late. Oh well, at least TAing wasn't so bad. We finished pretty early so David, Lynn and I wandered at the Book Fair and outside GHS, it was goofy.
  10.2.01 1:30 AM (Tuesday)
Not much went on today (yesterday.) New seats in AP Stats. Lunch at Ezell's with Shu Ming. I got an A on my Einstein's Dreams essay for AP LA, I was pretty happy. The end.
